Why should I choose Broadway Physical Therapy?
At Broadway Physical therapy we provide personal and individual attention to each client by scheduling all appointments for one hour.  Our clinic is staffed by experienced licensed Physical Therapists who have varied areas of specialty and certifications often not available in other physical therapy clinics . We have a friendly staff and provide a comfortable atmosphere for improving your health.  Our clinic is light and our open gym has a large assortment of high quality exercise equipment.  We strongly believe in patient education and good communication with everyone involved in your rehabilitation.  You will find us accessible and ready to answer any questions regarding your condition.

What should I expect at my first treatment session?
A physical therapist will evaluate your condition and with your active participation formulate a treatment plan to meet your goals.  Your therapist will also begin treatment which may include manual therapy techniques, modalities, and home management strategies. The session will last approximately one hour.  At your first treatment session you will need to come approximately 15 minutes early to fill out some paperwork regarding your physical problem and insurance information.  You could also fill out your forms prior to your appointment.

What are manual therapy techniques?
Manual therapy includes many different types of techniques used to increase mobility and improve the function of joints, muscle, and connective tissue.  Manual therapy is a hands-on treatment that may include procedures such as joint mobilization, cross friction massage, muscle energy, myofascial release and contract-relax stretching.

What should I wear?
We suggest that you bring loose comfortable clothing and exercise appropriate shoe wear to your first physical therapy appointment.  If possible bring clothes that allow us to examine the affected area such as shorts for a knee problem, or a tank top for a shoulder injury.  We also have gowns and shorts if needed.

Do you have accessible parking?
Parking is located directly in front of the facility. There are no stairs to negotiate and handicap parking is available.
