Professional Bike Fitting

At Broadway Physical Therapy you can now have your bike professionally fit to your body and needs. Matt Flood PT, DPT is certified by Bikefit allowing him to perform professional biomechanical bike fitting to all levels of riders. Matt examines leg length, flexibility, strength, as well as points of contact between bike and rider to increase efficiency and maximize performance. Matt can accommodate an existing injury and well as eliminate current pain.  Check out pricing here.

McKenzie Method

The McKenzie Method (MDT; Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) was developed by Robin McKenzie from New Zealand. This method is designed to identify mechanical problems and is a systematic approach to decreasing pain by improving movement dysfunction. Our physical therapists, Ellen Grover and Anne Bower are both certified in the Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT) through the McKenzie Institute International (MII). Athletic Performance Screening

The physical therapy staff at Broadway Physical Therapy has designed a screening program for teams or individuals interested in injury prevention and improving athletic performance. The assessment is made up of seven individual tests that assess strength, flexibility, static/dynamic balance, foot type, and body alignment while jumping. . After the screen in completed each athlete will be provided with an analysis of his or her results. Specific exercises and suggestions will be provided where deficiencies were noted in the screen. Team coaches will be provided with a detailed summary of the teams results.
